Cienfuegos
Cienfuegos is one of the most geometrically laid out cities in Cuba. Cienfuegos was founded by French colonists from Bordeaux and La Luisiana and still exudes a distinctly Gallic influence in its buildings.

Cienfuegos city has a number of interesting sites including the Jagua castle, one of the oldest cemetaries in Cuba. Cienfuegos provides a tranquil setting to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this friendly and welcoming city.

Cienfuegos is very convenient for those en-route to Trinidad de Cuba and lies between Bay of Pigs and Trinidad. Along the Cienfuegos coast stretches a 36km reef with a number of tunnels and caves as well as sunken ships, providing an excellent marine habitat.
