DAY 1: Old Havana
Arrive in Cuba and transfer to the historic Sevilla Hotel, your base in Havana.

DAY 2: Sightseeing in and around Havana
Your morning city tour will take in all of Havana’s most important landmarks, including the historic Plaza de Armas and the impressive Cathedral Square. You’ll explore the narrow, cobble-stoned streets of Old Havana, crammed with elegant colonial buildings that date back to the 16th century. Then there are visits to Partagas Cigar Factory and the Havana Club Rum Factory to see how the island’s two most famous exports are produced. After lunch you’ll be taken out of Havana to Finca Vigia, the home of Ernest Hemingway, virtually unchanged since he died. In the evening, a traditional Cuban dinner will be followed by the option of the world-famous Tropicana Cabaret.

DAY 3: Havana to Santa Clara and Trinidad
A drive through the sugar plantations will bring you to Santa Clara, the final resting place of Che Guevara, where a mausoleum and museum are dedicated to his memory. In Santa Clara, you’ll also see the Tren Blindado, the train which played a decisive role in the Cuban Revolution. During the afternoon, your journey will continue through the imposing Escambray Mountains to the breathtaking colonial city of Trinidad, now a UNESCO heritage site. Dine and stay at the Iberostar Grand Hotel in the centre of the town.

DAY 4: Trinidad Sightseeing
Exploration of Trinidad on foot, including a visit to the Romantic Museum, exhibiting Trinidad’s colonial past. You’ll also get the chance to enjoy some traditional Cuban music at the Casa de la Trova, followed by a visit to an 18th century house where you’ll be able to sample the delicious Trinidad rum cocktail. After lunch you’ll be able to explore on your own in this truly amazing historic city. Dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 5: Cienfuegos, Pinar del Rio and the Sierra del Rosario
An early start will allow time for a tour of the elegant colonial port of Cienfuegos on the gorgeous Bay of Jagua. You will come to Guama from which a boat will take you through the mangrove swamps to a replica stilted Taino Indian village. After lunch you will travel on to the stunning Sierra Del Rosario Nature Reserve, where you will stay overnight at the Moka Hotel.
